Have you ever wondered what it means to prepper? If not, don’t worry—you’re not alone. Many people think prepping is synonymous with survivalist or doomsdayer, but that couldn’t be further from the truth.
Let’s break down what prepping actually means and why it should be part of your digital marketing strategy.
Did you know?
Whatever is on the front of a magazine cover is what people are searching for the most? It's true. If you want your marketing efforts to be seen by as many potential customers as possible, it has to be popular and in demand. Preparation can help make that happen, but only if you're prepared!
While there is no guarantee that being prepared will give you guaranteed success, it definitely gives you an edge over those who do not prepare! The question then becomes, how do we prepare?
We now understand that WE DO HAVE A MARKETING BONE IN OUR BODY. We know that we are marketers. However, we still need to understand and fully grasp the digital.
Digital marketing is not a new thing; it’s been happening for years.
Digital marketing is one of the fastest growing sectors of the marketing industry, and because of this growth, many companies have begun developing strategies to capitalize on it.
The first step is going to be by utilizing your "prepper" content.
You should already have some type of prepper content that you can use in this area. By prepper content, I mean collecting ideas from magazine articles.
Research is critical here, if you wish to generate revenue. So what's an example of research? Let's say you have a blog post about food storage. Look up magazine articles or even websites that talk about these topics, too.
That way, you'll learn what people are looking for on those sites and magazines, which will help inform your marketing strategy.
With just a magazine topic, you can literally watch your business come alive. People are going to find you no matter what, but they're only going to buy from you if they feel like they know who you are.
You don't have time for them to get bored and move on. Create an identity that is as deep as the ocean and as vast as the sky!
The digital marketing landscape is ever-changing. New techniques are being developed, best practices are evolving, and consumers are adapting to the changes faster than ever before.
The one constant that remains true for every industry is change.
They need to be prepared. It's not enough to simply learn what you're doing and have it planned out in advance anymore; you also need a plan in place for when the unexpected happens.
You need contingencies and strategies in order to stay ahead of your competition at all times.
It can seem overwhelming to think about how much goes into being a marketer these days - but if you want your brand to succeed, it needs to be an active part of your digital strategy from the very beginning.
First, we need to realize that our layout and structure of everything from funnels to challenges, truly matters.
Everything should be designed to get the user where they need to go, create urgency and engagement, or provide value.
From landing pages to email campaigns, there are no limitations on what you can do or where you should start. There's never been a better time to try new things and experiment!
In marketing madness, this process begins by knowing our topics. In order to convince a prospect, you must be knowledgeable in this regard. It means reading up on news, staying current with the latest trends, and watching videos related to your niche.
It will help you stay one step ahead of everyone else in your field because you'll know what everyone is thinking and doing. That's why preparation should be a part of every marketer's digital marketing strategy!
To build on your marketing success, your prospects will need to assess your accountability. Well, how can we achieve this? One way we can do this is by creating a Facebook group for a challenge.
A challenge is one of my favorite ways to truly make your business come alive! When you have a community of likeminded individuals working together towards a goal, amazing things happen.
And it doesn't matter who participates as long as you engage them properly so that they feel appreciated. Create some type of reward system for people who participate to ensure their return participation and keep them coming back for more!
If you have a course, you need to attain memberships for these courses. An excellent way to do that, is by convincing them to join.
You can successfully convince the chosen prospect by providing them with an offer they can't refuse. I ask you this: What's better than something free?
Not only can you promote your courses within a Facebook page, but just as mentioned above, a challenge is an amazing way to promote those courses while providing the prospect with an irresistible offer.
A free 5-day challenge is a good starting point. Once the free week is over, you can offer a discounted price for the courses you teach. This is a great way to show your customer what they're missing out on and encourage them to sign up for your class.
You're essentially giving the potential customers an opportunity to INVEST IN KNOWLEDGE.
You do this through your courses, utilizing funnels. The Marketing Madness software takes away all the unnecessary grunt work so you can focus on the preparation that matters most to your customers.
So, before you say to me, "James, I seriously can't figure out how I'm going to map out this project for my brand," remember that my software will make the prepping easy.
Creating is easy with our software. You can now easily change your layouts, edit courses and customize emails with the drag and drop builder.
One of the best parts is that you don't need any design skills. You can easily upload images, video and text to bring your content to life. Plus, don't forget to add calls to action!
A CTA is a call to action. They can be very simple, such as a link that's asking for an email address. They can also be interactive and entice the viewer to click on an ad.
Whatever the case may be, CTAs are imperative for marketing success.
Your content needs to be created in a way that's easy for social media. This means you can post images and text-based posts, but don't forget about video. It's not just helpful, it's vital.
I've said it before, I'll say it again: Copywriting is the GLUE that holds any digital marketing endeavor together. That's why you need an impeccable hook. The right hook will unlock endless possibilities.
